Advanced Motorcycle Course
What is it?
Our advanced motorcycle course is designed to help riders improve their riding skills and increase their safety on the road. The course covers a range of topics, from advanced cornering techniques to defensive riding strategies, and is aimed at experienced riders who want to take their skills to the next level.
One key area of focus in an advanced motorcycle course is cornering. This is because many motorcycle accidents occur when riders misjudge a turn or are unable to navigate it safely. In the course, riders will learn how to approach corners at the correct speed and angle, and how to use their body positioning and throttle control to maintain stability throughout the turn. They will also learn how to read the road ahead and anticipate potential hazards, such as debris or changing road conditions, and how to adjust their riding accordingly.
Another important aspect of an advanced motorcycle course is defensive riding. This involves learning how to identify and avoid potential hazards on the road, such as aggressive drivers, road works, and poor visibility. Riders will also learn how to use their bike's brakes and manoeuvring abilities to avoid collisions and react quickly in emergency situations. By mastering these skills, riders can not only improve their safety on the road, but also enhance their riding enjoyment and confidence.
